Perfectly said. Corn and soy together add up to about 80% of production in the Brazilian Amazon. And the sale of illegally sourced woods obtained while clearing invaded lands to implant new farms often helps covering the cost of implanting it in the first place. I'd add an extra step for anyone who doesn't want to wait for a boycott: Don't consume stuff containing corn, wood, soy or beef if it's coming from amazonian countries. And yes, I'd say all stuff containing it and from the whole country, not region, cause it's easy to circumvent the law and sell illegally sourced stuff as legal.
The deforesting is also caused by wrong diets of humanity ,back to Eden fruitarian solves illness and fruits have seeds to reforest.❤❤❤blessings and love
It's hard enough being a young person. Has there ever been a generation of young people this inspirational. Yet all the governments of the world are doing is persecuting them.
As they say, an😢 ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. It is better to immediately stop clear cutting of trees because this deforestation will be very much regretted in later years. Drought will come as trees bring rain through evapotranspiration. It will be very expensive to reverse this situation. Crops will dry up and drinking water will become scarce. Wildlife and humanity will die as a result of this drought. Also, a lack of trees only increases global warming.
